Interesting Factoids! This will be my first KIT final too, it should be fun if the weather's the same as it currently is! I was gutted I missed that bomb at Margate too.
FB, remember telling me at the WCGC's that the weather looks like it'll be ok this weekend? Tell me the name of the forecast website so I can avoid it in future!

KIT 2010 Factoid #5: The winner of the KIT has never gone on to win the Kent Open....despite The Force's best efforts in 2009!

Well done Michael - a worthy winner of the KIT and also to Adam for a cracking second place and unlucky Marc for being played off into 3rd (but at least you've got the current Explorers course record for your troubles!!).

Final KIT factoids of the day:

The 2010 KIT has achieved the following (previously never been seen at a KIT final)...

Paul Johnson drops his putter down a well, Sean Homer throws a Tim Davies ball of fame in the lake, Tony Kelly fails to shoot an ace and Michael Smith receives an official warning and penalty stroke.

Roll on the KO - one can only hazard a guess as to what we will get upto over 3 rounds!!!!

Well played Michael, this year's most consistent player & fully deserved Champion!
As soon as the lights came on (too late!) I lost my concentration & I had three 3's in a row which put me 4th instead of 2nd, not good! It was a nice comp though, I really enjoyed both courses & they'd make a great venue for other competitions. After getting soaked at the Parade today I'm not sure if either CR will have changed hands, something to shoot at next time, possibly the KIT next year?
I saw Sean having a torrid time with the Aceman ball on a couple of holes, was it thrown deliberately FB?
Well done Sean & Marion for another year's organisation, much appreciated by us all!

Cheers Andy - there's a share of the Explorers record now and the Aceman ball was dropped (not in the lake) for today replaced by my multicoloured Jamaican flag ball - seemed to work well (see the KO thread)
