Pre-event update at The Force HQ....

Shining my balls whilst I watch the snooker on TV...pretending to clean the white like the referee

Pre-event update from Homer Towers.

DT in the kitchen baking treats for tomorrow while I have just emptied, cleaned and refilled the pond in the glorious sunshine.

Hard to believe that in less than 24 hours it's going to be wet and somewhat dreary...

The 'Legendary' KMGC Easter Eggstravaganza trophy is primed and ready for the short trip down to Bluewater. Local folk already lining the route from Homer Towers in the hope of catching a rare glimpse of the shiny cup... who will be taking this home in 24 hours time?

Thanks all, despite the weather everyone was in good spirits & some in good form too on a very damp course! Well done Michael, great scoring in those conditions, super win yet again.
Tony's ace at 18 was a great moment, sadly I just missed Adam's previous effort that went in the pool!
Thanks to FB & DT for the organisation, and to their able helpers Martin & Mark.
Thanks also the cakes & biscuits bought along by some fine people!
See you all soon!
VTK!
 cheers

If there's one reason I bring Ryan to the Easter bash, it's to have fun!

Ryan said " I had lots of fun daddy. Can I go next year?"
Thank you to Sean and Marion for your patience and everyone else for making Ryan feel welcome. Volcano is getting better daddy better watch out!   Shocked

Cheers all, great day! Great result too for the pool my I add!  tongue

A perfect way to sum up the day!!

And Ryan is definitely getting better and better at every event... some absolutely monumental 2nd putt saves in round 2.

So after a few hectic weeks, what with Great Britain course openings, Masters and Eggstravaganza's all behind us we have a few weeks hiatus until the BC's at Strokes followed by the brave GBR boys travelling over to Gothenburg for the WAGM.

Should be another great month of minigolf...

Kind words indeed from the KMGC's resident scribe.

As I was saying to Michael as we were playing the first round (and after I'd recovered from the volcano hole!), it's amazing how your confidence over a shot is affected having not picked up the putter in half a year!

Regular play boosts confidence in your stroke. Confidence in your putting takes the pressure off those 'must make/important' shots. There you go kids!  cheers

I could've done with someone telling me that before my first effort at the volcano, it must've been about 4 inches offline as it went halfway up the slope then back down again. Must pick my putter up more often too.  Very Happy

I took that volcano down (sounded better in my head...) in round 3 though...and one of my three victorious matchplay rounds Wink
