It's back and for an eighth year in a row the KMGC will be making the trip down to Pirate Cove at Bluewater on Easter Sunday for the traditional Easter get together - the second of the KMGC Grand Slam events - the Easter Eggstravaganza!!!

3 rounds on the Smugglers Course with the winner picking up the much heralded SpongeBob Trophy (currently being looked after by Andy ‘Mr X’ Exall).

The course will be open from 10am with the first round teeing off at 11am

Plenty of larks, chocolate and a spot of minigolf as well make it a must do event over the Easter period.

KMGC Tour Pros get a £15 day rate for the event on presentation of our shiny 2018 Tour Pro badge (juniors get the £10 rate) and those good folk at KMGC HQ will be subsidising all the KMGC who enter by £5. Please note this day rate is exclusive to the KMGC and is not a BMGA related day rate (this no longer exists for this course).

Friends of the KMGC may well be able to get special dispensation on the day by becoming honorary (and temporary) KMGC'ers to benefit from our wonderful club related day rate (for a small fee of course). The kind hearted Founders may grant this unique honour if we deem you special enough Wink

So if you want to take part then drop us a line at info@kentminigolfclub.co.uk or on here or on Facebook (you know the drill by now) and an official invite will be granted if we like you Smile

2018 Easter Eggstravaganza update: some info and titbits ahead of tomorrow's KMGC Grand Slam event.

Course opens from 10am and we will tee off from 11am. The usual 3 round event, all on the Smugglers course (the one on the left as you get to hole 1).

You can use any ball or balls combo's you want - personally i'll be going full on Decade for the day - but of course not all players have the skill and excellence of the 'Bird Wink so it's up to you what you do (i'll have some Decades available if - unbelievably - you haven't already got one - for the Easter bonus price of £12 for any who want one).

The party room will be ours for the day and the weather looks great (but wrap up as it could be a chilly one).

KMGC'ers get the £15 day rate on production of their tour pro badge (and just a tenner for our juniors - it's almost like we are actually encouraging people to take part... are we mad?) - these will be on offer for a rental rate of just £1 for anyone foolish enough to not be in our marvellous club! We are too kind to all our guests... but then again, that's the way we always are (almost to a fault you could argue).

The Founders will be subsidising the KMGC entries by a fiver each - but be useful of the KMGC elite (i.e. anyone in our marvelous club) can have a fiver or change to help the founder get the right money on the day!

Oh, yes, and there will be chocolate.

And as is always the case, there will be japes and chuckles and shenanigans... we do enjoy our get togethers and are always keen for others to share our unique approach to minigolf.

And questions just ask. We will probably have a few unique rules if there are any play offs... after all we make and break the rules at our club - we are the KMGC... always have been. Always will be.

See you all tomorrow.
