MEGABOWL - Saturday 8th August

4 rounds of tournament play (carbon copy of day one of the British Open) - and more importantly a chance for all of us to celebrate Sue's birthday!!

Prizes galore on the day (I still treasure my Dave Forrest personalised mouse mat!) although hopefully there won't be any repeat of Dave's stunt eating resulting in more teeth expenses!!

I have a firm grip on the Megabowl, who will prise it away?
Last year was a great day & as I type this I'm looking at D4 as I drink!
Looking forward to it again!

Sue, what time do you want to kick off the first round on the day? I can then get the countdown sorted out to the minute!

I can't remember what time last year's Megabowl kick off time was.

Set it for 11am and we'll confirm things nearer the time.

Not quite sure how to go about that but as it's the Birthday girls big day, having the two finest organisers in the land at the KMGC we could give it some thought!

Great idea, maybe combine the two formats, eg Two rounds matchplay, two rounds stroke, win in matchplay counts as points going forward???

Congrats to Andy for retaining the Megabowl. A great days play with Andy equalling the course record twice - outstanding stuff.

Congrats Andy - I was hoping Sean would win (obviously!) but you fully deserved the trophy - 2 rounds of 31 show that come the BO, an English player can stand shoulder to shoulder with those pesky Europeans!!

Everyone played very well and in great spirit, I enjoyed playing with all my round mates!!

Thanks again to Andy B, Andy X, Rich and Dave my playing peeps, i started off well and slowly deteriorated but a huge mention to Owen (who I have only met this weekend) what a beautiful little boy, with fantastic manners around the course, he knew exactly which ball to use and his ace on the 8th with high 5 celebrations are unforgettable. It was also lovely to meet Paul and Anna too.

I’m sorry Jen but I only managed to catch a glimpse of your celebration of aceing the 17th ... a very well done, you were the only one to ace the 17th on Saturday.

Marc, the trophy I’m sure will be yours one day – it’s a shame you were caught in traffic at the start ... maybe next year!!!
