My thoughts exactly... Cool

And of course with Chris and Michael playing together, should they win (which they won't of course) then we know that it's down to Chris being the key man who could partner with any old joker to take the title.

And if they don't then clearly the Force was the main man...

Interesting times indeed.

Don't worry Marc dave d went and pinched my partner Alastair shaw from behind my back. Without asking me seems like there is no loyalty in Minigolf anymore so thanks to a certain someone I'm partner less

Having dissected our past performances, we discovered that when one of us was not performing well; the other, generally, was.
When both were firing, we won easily. When both weren't, we narrowly lost.

That's teamwork for you! It's one of the reasons why playing doubles is such a challenge and why one form player can't just drag a partnership to the title.

 cheers

Not all top players abandon their 'weaker' team mates! They do have to be prepared to take instruction, coaching and advice in order for it to work though... Twisted Evil

May the Force be with Who has been broken up by Michael Smith using underhand methods - scandalous behaviour indeed!

Would have been polite to be asked first before making the approach to Chris...good riddance Michael! Twisted Evil

2 quick points:

1. I would not have asked Chris to be my partner if I had thought Marc would be able to play, and would have expected Chris to find out about his availability before he agreed to play with me. Clearly that was a big mistake. It was a genuine mistake, not intended to upset anyone, but nonetheless it was a mistake, and for that I apologise. Sorry Marc.

2. The length of this thread, despite being more than 6 weeks away from the event, can only be good news for this special tournament. It's looking good for a full 16 pair field and I for one cannot wait.

It's always dangerous to presume when it comes to minigolf partners...as Michael's learnt... Evil or Very Mad
