good evening everyone welcome to the all new kmgc unofficial champions cup the new name for the premier league 1st off a big congratualations to adam kelly on winning the masters trophy £60 and the legendary jacket and let me reveal to you it was double whammy for adam as he also amassed 580 points and won the latest champions cup event at splashpoint with a marvellous 12 under par playing off a scratch handicap. also a big well done to michael smith who has cut will donnellys lead at the top from 120 points to 100 points and to sean homer jumping from 540 points to 815 could he be the dark horse in the champions cup sneaking along steadily then pounce at the world crazies we shall see . and next another well done to tony kelly reaching over 1000 points and to will donnelly retaining the lead at the top of the table . so with out further ado here is the updated leaderboard

hello everyone hope you had a fun filled weekend  here is the latest news from the champions cup  
firstly yes the champions cup will run at wroxham alhough i won't be there due to travelling expense ,lack of available accomodation near the course and no time to go and practice before the tournament but have no fear the points and handicaps i will update after the british championship as per normal .secondly the champions cup will also run alongside the wagms at hastings same point scoring etc will occur as normal.  next on the agenda the matchplay at boscome chine yes the champions cup will run alongside the matchplay and since its matchplay not stroke play the usual point scoring will not apply other than the points for finishing positions, top senior,lady and junior instead every match you play you will be awarded 50 points for every match you win and 20 points for every match you draw .no wins or draws means zero points.  
the last champions cup event in which you can collect any final points towards your leaderboard total this season is the world crazies at hastings

   now on to the exciting bit the prizes after some hard thought i have come up with a cracking line up of prizes for the champions cup winner, top 4 point scorers other than the winner ,top junior, lady player and senior player

     so here is the prize  breakdown  

1 champions cup winner= trophy £30 + minigolf ball  
2 runner up                    £20 + minigolf ball  
3 third place                  £10 + minigolf ball
4 fourth place                 £5  + minigolf ball  
5 5th place                     £2  + minigolf ball
top junior                     £10 gift voucher    
top senior                     £10 gift voucher  
top lady                       £10 gift voucher              

the thought behind having minigolf balls as prizes was on realising we have a number of new kmgc members who have a limited ball selection to play with and i thought if any of the new players get in to the prize stakes it would be nicer and more beneficial for them to recieve a brand new minigolf ball which they could use to further enhance their ball selection ahead of 2014 season

How are you getting the funding for the prizes Alex? Is Alisher Usmanov a secret backer?
