Great organization from FB & DT as ever & fantastic to see all of the results transferred above for our interest - somehow I don't think next year will be quite the same. Very smooth draws between rounds, and although the day is knackering it was also very enjoyable.
Unlucky Michael, good effort once again, you came very close to upsetting the 'bird on his local course, but for a very cruel twist of fate against Brad on our sudden death playoff at the 6th, I would've had the opportunity to do the same Maybe next time.
The closeness of a great many matches yesterday is clear vindication of the superb venue choice, as with Sidcup every player is able to shoot good scores so games in general were tougher and closer.
All in all a good showing again from all of KMGC!

And thanks for the video... although perhaps I should have waited to post this until after HIOK submits his KMGC report!!!

There's a fine audible click as the clicker rebounds, followed by one of my favourite sounds, the clicker dropping into a cup!
What you can't hear though is Michael's very faint "oh b******s"!

Although I hate matchplay this tournament is for me one of the best tournaments of the year as it is fun and unpredictable. Thanks to Sean, Marion and Marc for running the tournament so well. It was a great effort by everyone. I feel bad for Marc and the filmmaker because they played really well and were just unlucky to run into Nick and Brad on such hot rounds. But that's matchplay for you. We can be thankful that the best player won. Sean was superb all day, especially in the final.

A cracking effort from HIOK (as always), with several laugh out load moments included (and some borderline scandalous comments about John & Joan Doe!!).

It was a great event and played in terrific spirit - but i'm glad we've got a bit of a break until D-Day at Dorridge when the Matchplay mentality will be back with a smorgusboard of KMGC mixed teams taking on each other no doubt in the Doubles (if anyone is looking for a partner, Perfect Par is keen to play - although maybe Perfect Pa will step up again?!).

Casual Force look forward to locking horns with all comers on the 31st!!
