Having said that, England will improve and win the next 2 games. Nobody usually plays that well in the first game.

As if the game wasn't bad enough, hat's off to ITV HD for missing the goal due to a technical glitch (i.e someone pushing the wrong button and deciding a car advert was of more interest than the first goal we scored in the WC). And talk about understatment....as Adrian Chiles apologised to viewers at half time by saying:

"Apologies for those watching in HD, I believe there was some interruption in your coverage."

Very poor!

I enjoyed listening to 5 live and hearing the goal and still getting into the living room to see it happen... Priceless
