Friendly event on Saturday 30th March 2013

On Saturday 30th March 2013 there will be a friendly event occurring.
We will start at Kelsey Park course, Beckenham & then move on later to World of golf Croydon.

The first round at Kelsey Park will start at 12pm & we will play 2 rounds here!!
After this we will all then drive up to the World of golf Croydon (people giving lifts would be much appreciated!! )

We will play one final round at Croydon & then a winner will be crowned (not literally )

There will be a trophy for the winner & medals for top 3 & possibly for other categories depending on the numbers!!

The entrance fee will be £10 per player!!

So the £10 would cover you for both courses yes?

Please bear in mind that the Easter Eggstravaganza will be on the Sunday at Bluewater (£10 for day).

Sat is Easter sat so would imagine courses above will be v.busy (Bluewater shopping centre on easter sunday closed so course is always virtually empty for us).

Scott we don't have any practice / BMGA rates set for either K Park or Croydon so you may find the latter in particular will expect players to pay normal rates.

I went to Kelsey Park course last Saturday! They offer a £5 day rate!

I am sure that when I went to Croydon World of Golf that I got a £5 day rate there but maybe I just got lucky (for once ). So I guess that we should be expecting to pay £8 standard rate for that course then!

So entrance fee is now £13 which covers entrance to the courses (£5 for Kelsey park & £8 for Croydon World of Golf)!

Brad has suggested that we only play 1 round at Kelsey Park.
Any opinions on this?
I personally don't mind, just need a majority!

The start was delayed but when we eventually started we played 2 rounds at Kelsey Park & 1 final round at Croydon World of Golf.

Final positions with results:
1). Brad Shephered- 34,37,39 Total= 110 (+2)
2). Michael Smith- 37,41,35 Total= 113 (+5)
3). Seth Thomas- 39,37,39 Total= 115 (+7)
4). Will Donnelly- 37,42,38 Total= 117 (+9)
5). Dave Donnelly- 42,36,41 Total= 119 (+11)
6). Emily Gottfried- 42,51,41 Total= 134 (+26)
7). Chris Jones- 52,47,39 Total= 138 (+30)
8 ). Richard Gottfried- 44,52,43 Total= 139 (+31)
