2016 CUP CAKE CLASSIC - Hastings seafront - Sunday January 3rd

The first event of the KMGC's 2016 calendar.

The 2016 CUP CAKE CLASSIC at the Hastings Seafront.

Sunday 3rd January 2016

11am start (as agreed with the course, the standard £10 day rate will be applicable to all players on the day be they Tour pro or not - payment to be made via Freebird or Double Trouble when we get there - for unlimited practice up to 10.45am and entry into the CCC).

2 rounds of strokeplay - round 1 on the Crazy, Round 2 on the Pirate followed by a final round of Crazy Crazy rules (on the Crazy Golf Course) to decide the 2015 champion.

Single ball rule for all three rounds (time to warm up those Kent Open balls again!!).

Sausage rolls will be provided (presuming Homer Towers kitchen staff can get up early enough on the Sunday) and feel free to bring along assorted festive treats to share!

Xmas attire - jumpers, hats, etc - encouraged!!

And for those who are wondering where 2009's event is - 2008 was held in December but from 2010 onwards the CCC has been held in January so we aren't missing one but the dates switched!!

NB: There are no ranking points available at this event, just good old fashioned fun!!

Will probably come down with Ollie but single ball format, promise of fun and lack of ranking points does put me off a bit.

After looking at the weather forecast I think we have decided to cut our losses and take AK back to uni during the day instead of the evening.

20 very crazy golfers...

Really enjoyed the day, despite the weather!! So nice to be in such good company, 20 people to a single ball tournament with no money or ranking points...on a really wet day...who would have thought it?!!!

Just a few of the reasons I refused to play at this discraceful event...I hope there'll be a questionnaire for me to fill out and voice my disgust!
