What a great weekend, so glad we made the trip. Star City's a great place & my kind of course. Well done to Michael & Adam, great consistency & thanks Michael for help with a few lines, much appreciated. A strong showing by the Mighty KMGC with some serious performances - Movin' Up Marion's 10th place, Tony's superb 28, top 7 places etc.
Many thanks as ever, for the impeccable & seamless organisation from Sean & Marion, super stuff & to get a competition in & leave early afternoon was great.
Thanks to my playing partners, Future Minigolf Star Ollie & The Gringo, both had misfortunes which otherwise would have seen them get better scores, both a pleasure to play rounds with. Thanks Martin & Brenda for looking after the Hurricane, he had a great weekend & wants to do it again soon, can't put it any better myself!
VTK!
Now, must get a Nifo 2 for next time, my Jouni BoF cost me my only 3!  No

Nice to see you at Star city Andy, nice final round from you too.
Congratulations to Sean in beating me in the Ace play-off. I believe we're 1-1 on play offs now.

As you know I have a Nifo 2, it was just stolen by the Assassin - that is my excuse for such an appalling hole 10. And as for hole 6, just didn't get it at all.

I saw it all Martin, I'd have nabbed it back for H10, it was spot on for that rebound. If we are back later this year I'll have to get one, or very similar.

This one could well be one of my finest creations - to quote Ned Ryerson, it could be "a real doozy"!

19 players from the KMGC descended on Star City and did rather well it seems... the report from the 2014 BMGA Star City Open penned by the KMGC's Michael Smith - http://www.kentminigolfclub.co.uk/2014SCO.htm

Great report about a great team performance. It is no coincidence that KMGC debutates did so well - we had all studied FB's video to death (I managed to download it on my phone and we watched it on the course if we were unsure of a shot when we practiced on Saturday).

Good day to you....... off to play cricket, which is taking a back seat this year I fear.....

Glad to hear it Alien, it is a silly game. Smile We played once a year at work against a 3rd rate local team, once I was hit on the noggin with a cricket ball (hurt a bit) two years later my index finger on my left hand was broken by a nutter chucking a cricket ball at me when I had a bowl (hurt more) I don't play anymore.
