Good to see KMGC players moving up the rankings. It's a very strange ranking system that gives more points for winning a club open over 48 holes than for winning our national championships. The KMGC now holds two of the three majors and had three players in the top four at Wroxham but the rankings do not reflect performance in the major events.

As much as I hate tinkering yet again..... I would add some sort of factor for a 2 day event, not just because an event is a "major", maybe a boost to reward the commitment/cost/effort. If only we'd had some sort of rankings sub committee to consider such things......
