And certainly one of the best organised events!!! - speaking of which, I need 2 helpers for the BO to ensure it goes smoothly - any volunteers?

VTK!
The Scott from 2.05secs is actually Peter Feix from the Czech Republic.... I believe the technical term for his ball is very bouncyAnthony Pope wrote:Great video Sean! Really looking foward to the BO now.
At about 2:05secs Scott hits a great shot up Heartbreak Ridge. Anyone know what ball he was using?
If anyone says FS4, I'll ask the BMGA to ban them from all future competitions. We can't have another gold-rush for a rubbish ball like we did last year!

The first round in particular is definitely a case of handling the nerves - I was late out last year and I found it useful to kick into spectator mode for the first hour, watch a few of the early groups then get into the mindset of competition play.... first out has the joy of everyone watching you like a hawk so it's swings and roundabouts really... can't wait for it all to start!andy ex wrote:Freebird wrote:DAY ONE GROUPS & ROUND 1 TEE-OFF TIMES

Unlucky with the late start guys, I had to wait for what seemed an eternity previously. With no praccy allowed I was nervous when I started!
Unfortunately he's unable to make the trip over this year due to illness.andy ex wrote:What's happened to Matthias Stahl in the start list on the BMGA site?
We'll be gutted if he isn't playing!

I'm not sure if Bjorn has made the trip either - he was also suffering with heavy flu on Monday and was unsure whether or not he was going to make it over. Both great players and two of the fancied tips for the title...andy ex wrote:Freebird wrote:Unfortunately he's unable to make the trip over this year due to illness.andy ex wrote:What's happened to Matthias Stahl in the start list on the BMGA site?

Blimey, that is a shame & I feel bad now, he's a great player & a tough competitor!
