Just the start to a fine weekend of banter:

From the Beeb:

• West Ham are unbeaten in their last six home matches against Wolves (W4, D2).
Their only home defeat in the last 15 meetings was 2-1 in the old First Division in March 1978.

Can't believe the match has been called off - I thought Eastenders were famed for their 'salt of the earth' cockney geezer blitz spirit... it appears they are just a bunch of southern softies!

Fair enough comment unfortunately! Very Happy It did make me laugh!
This snowfall has shown up just how far things have descended in this pathetic country. Every Premier League game should've been played, all the pitches are fine! Fans can then choose whether they want to travel or not.

One quick update from the weekends packed Premier League fixtures (a point for Mr X only!):

1) Mr X - 130 points (16 correct scores + 82 correct results)
2) The Force - 116 points (13 correct scores + 77 correct results)
3) Freebird - 115 points (15 correct scores + 70 correct results)
4) Donkey Gringo - 111 points (11 correct scores + 77 correct results)
5) DT - 95 points (11 correct scores + 62 correct results)
6) AK47 - 37 points (4 correct scores + 25 correct results)
7) Sarge - 23 points (1 correct score + 20 correct results)

It's a pretty farcical situation particularly when you see what (dirty) Leeds had to content with up North (and well played Wycombe for making the trip and almost stealing the 3 points). Why West Ham and Liverpool can't follow suit is a dissappointment for all football followers. Anyway, rant over... let's hope the FA Cup ties show a bit more resolve next week!!!

Update following tonights game - at half time The Force was picking up 3 points, only for FB, Mr X & AK47 to then be in line for the full haul. Then Blackburn bang in a consolation goal and it looks like DG was taking the honours, only for Tevez to get his hattrick and all of us bagging the solitary point!!!!

1) Mr X - 131 points (16 correct scores + 83 correct results)
2) The Force - 117 points (13 correct scores + 78 correct results)
3) Freebird - 116 points (15 correct scores + 71 correct results)
4) Donkey Gringo - 112 points (11 correct scores + 78 correct results)
5) DT - 96 points (11 correct scores + 63 correct results)
6) AK47 - 38 points (4 correct scores + 26 correct results)
7) Sarge - 23 points (1 correct score + 20 correct results)

Next up the FA Cup (presuming that some of the ties actually get played!!!!)...

....and here's the reason from the Daily Mail:

West Ham's league game with Wolves on Sunday was postponed due to an incorrect weather forecast for more snow.
