If you were to choose a minigolfing dream team that would be it! The legendary 2010 Club Champions go for 2 in a row - a feat never achieved with the exact same line-up of 4 players....

Well done to Sean, Mark & Michael, great team mates and a fine win, if not a bit too close! The Green really improved throughout the day & we could quite easily have lost the final.
It'll obviously upset others to hear we won again, unsurprisingly the ones who make most noise about the KMGC domination of all BMGA competitions are the ones who were absent yesterday.
VTK yet again! cheers cheers cheers

A great day for the club and everyone involved in the KMGC.

The Kent Minigolf Club made our debut at the 2006 Club Championships in Dorridge and to return to the course 5 years later as the reigning Club Champions with two superb teams is a testament to the spirit, hardwork and passion of all our players to become the best players and club possible.

To retain the title is incredible and this is a victory for all of us in the club. The Spitfires and the Hurricanes topped both groups, unbeaten and victorious throughout the first phase. The Hurricanes victory over Midlands A was a real classic and showed everything in that match that makes the club and the players of the KMGC top class!!

Full results can be found at http://www.minigolf.org.uk/joomla/index.php?view=details&id=61&option=com_eventlist&Itemid=56

It's been a superb year and I take my hat off to everyone in the club - it's a pleasure and an honour to wear the club colours (be they black or orange) and play alongside the best of the best!

Next year will see us take on the best of the rest... prepare for the call in 2012!

Well done everyone for a terrific end to an unbelievable year for the KMGC.

VTK!

Well done to everyone both for yesterday and for the whole season. Even if it wasn't the finish, The Hurricanes dreamed off, they clearly had a great team spirit and a lot of fun under Donkey Gringo's leadership.

All 9 of us have been superb this year and whether everybody else likes it or not, we will be better in 2012.

Like last year, Marc, Andy and Sean were the best team-mates imaginable, both in terms of team spirit and performance. We didn't always play our best but we kept calm, showed great control of our emotions and played the key pressure moments in the semi and final brilliantly. This win feels more special than 2010. We had to dig very deep and fight really hard. Awesome! It's probably wrong to single one player out as we all played great but I would like to pay tribute to Marc for his 9 aces in the Semi Final and Final. And of course Freebird was a great captain. I wonder if after his tactical masterstroke of our change in playing order if he might apply to be the next Blackburn manager?

It was a honour to play in that final. 3 players - Seth, Will and myself, scored hat-tricks of aces whilst Marc managed 4 in the row. It was a superb effort from The Green but we just deserved the win.

Wow! What a great weekend. A chilly November morning besides, the Sunday was fantastic.
I was delighted with how The Green dealt with being thrashed in the first match.
And delighted with how well we all played when it mattered.
Aside from Chris are team could hardly be described as reliable or good, yet we did better than last year when we had a excellent team. cheers
No doubt due to my wonderful leadership. Wink
Or our anonymous coach!

A fantastic final match; we played just as well as we did in the semi final if not a smidgen better. But the Spitfires had that extra fire power required, it would have been unfair if we had won due to the pipe hole, so the result was certainly deserved.

At least we ran you closer than Hastings last year though. Very Happy

Well played Seth, although I'm very pleased to have won, I also would've been happy for yourselves if you'd have edged it. Watching the four of you play Hole 12 was excruciating stuff, thankfully for us none of your shots dropped! It was a great final & super stuff from yourselves to come back from the early defeat to very nearly get sweet revenge. How will Boom get back into that team? Evil or Very Mad

It was a great effort by The Green though our Kent Open winner is being far too modest about his own ability and I'm sure he'll be consistently near the top at most events next year.

As for the KMGC versus the ROW for next year, James is pretty certain that he'll be able to convince Tim to play...

I very much doubt we'll see it but it would be great if he does. Whoever talks Tim into playing can then go on & sort out problems in the Middle East, for they will have done a good job.
