And what better way can there be to reflect on our triumph than to sit back and read the report of the event, courtesy of the UK's number 1 player, Mr Michael 'Hole In One kenobi' Smith:

A brilliant report and a fitting climax to a superb season for the KMGC.

ClockworkOrange

Another good report from Michael, an excellent summation of the day and I wish The Force good luck in all his endeavors Very Happy .
But I must have missed the bit below. What's that about?

The one slight aggravation from the day was some gamesmanship from some of the younger male competitors of the CMGC.
Suggesting that “The Spitfires were a one man team” and that “whichever team Michael was in would win” would have been bad enough had it been true. The fact that it was completely false, that all 4 of The Spitfires had been firing on all cylinders, made it worse. And yes, Cambridgeshire, you knew exactly which member of the team it would wind up the most. Captain Ruthers, control your team better! Freebird would throw us into the lake at Bluewater if we disrespected an opponent like that.

I'm also slightly worried that Michael's hacked his parents' email accounts. Shocked
