Alex had a very serious accident yesterday afternoon & is in a London hospital that specialises in head injuries. I've just heard that he's been moved from intensive care to a high dependancy unit so hopefully is on the way to a full recovery.
I'm sure I speak for all of the KMGC in wishing him & Phil all the best & look forward to seeing them both on the greens again.

Good grief - that's terrible news Andy. Please pass on Marion and my best wishes to Phil and the rest of the family and we both hope that Alex makes a full recovery as soon as possible.

I just spoke to Phil who said Alex is going to be ok but is very lucky. He banged his head on a vice at school, then cracked it again when he hit the floor. He had minor swelling & bleeding of the brain & was rushed to Kings College Hospital in London where they had prepared the theatre for brain surgery if the bleeding didn't stop. Luckily it did so he's now expected to make a full recovery, but any games such as his footy etc are off the menu for at least 6 months. Probably means we will get to see more of them at Minigolf comps!
Don't diss the NHS, they're ok! Wink
Thanks to all for the good wishes, it was very worrying for a while!
