Congratulations to Michael 'Hole In One Kenobi' Smith for taking the Weymouth Open title in style along with a new course record and in the process his first (of many I have no doubt) career victories!!

Freebird took the runner-up slot ahead of the Midlands Massive of Squire (2008 Champ), Who, Overtaker, Jackpot & Kevin Moseley (2009 champ).

Marvellous stuff!

VTK!

Congratulations Michael on your first tour victory but certainly not your last.

You are going to be a serious force to be reckoned with at the WCGC Smile

A couple of photos are now adorning the home page of our website! A top performance from the Rookie of the year and definitely the one to watch for the WCGC's!

Thank you very much for your messages. I will hopefully be a lot more relaxed now I've finally got that first victory under my belt.

The support, advice, and friendship that all 7 of you have given this year has made it very easy for me to improve my minigolf and have a huge amount of fun along the way. It is very much appreciated. Thank you all.

Well played Sean on getting 2nd. That made a perfect tournament for me even better. That cannon pic is awesome.

See you all on Sunday.

lol! lol!

Funny enough I always enjoyed it too when Sean came second when I won! Very Happy

Yes Mr X, but I think you know I did not mean it like that!

If you both play like that at the end of the month then we're all in big trouble!

Sean - always steady at Hastings and thrives under the variable conditions.
Michael - I'm sure you'll be in the money at least and beat my result last year in doing so. I'm also sure you will adapt superfast to course and ball like you have at every course you've played thus far.

That's very nice of you to say, Marc. I'm a little apprehensive to be honest. I've not taken to the crazy course that quickly and I'm a little worried that because we've had almost a perfect year's weather for the minigolf tournaments, I have virtually no experience of the wind and rain so that could put me at a massive disadvantage compared to every other top player.

Having said that, this weekend will be great practice for all of us. I genuinely believe that as a team we can get all 7 or 8 of us in the top 17. And with Marc, Sean and Andy we have a great chance of getting a first major for KMGC. We cannot let Planet Hastings have the top british player at all 3 majors!
