On today's edition of Pointless, there was a woman called Sherrie from Cambridge who said that her hobby was playing crazy golf and her husband was 'the Rory McIlroy of crazy golf'. She also said that their favourite course was at Hastings. Has anyone got any idea who she is?

Never heard of or seen her before (Adrian sent me a screen grab of her).

A significant degree of embellishment on her behalf I believe!!

All 'big' golfers think they're special when it comes to playing crazy golf, pretty much without exception they're completely wrong. A good example are two very low handicap ladies who've played in the WCGCs recently, both looked good but couldn't get near the top.
We had a guy at work who was a low handicapper & persuaded him to play in the famous Tun Wells Inv Tournament (TWIT) just before the WCGC one year, he told us all many times beforehand he would thrash everyone. One round on Hastings Mini course later & he was last, to everyone's deep joy. He had the right hump, calling it a rubbish game etc & despite repeated attempts, we couldn't get him to return, he knew he'd be humiliated again.
lol!

I'd really like to see the Rory Mac of mini golf playing his first game at Strokes though Very Happy
