You're not doing yourself any favours Alex. I do not take kindly to receiving aggressive messages from anyone, especially from you, regardless of the matter.

You are going the wrong way about things. Please stop before embarrassing yourself and further offending your fellow club mates.

Tiger, enough is enough.

This forum doesn't need to have it's bandwidth wasted on pointless crusades. There has been enough so called debate on the back of a throwaway booklet. Everyone has their opinions and thoughts on the matter and many have expressed them - some more eloquently than others - as is their right, but ultimately there is no point in pursuing this any more. Take a look at our mission statement if you are in any doubt about this:

To promote minigolf in the South East and ensure as many people as possible get involved in this fun game!

This ongoing nonsense about who wrote what does nothing to enhance this goal, but is more likely to cause further damage and upset, none of which is in keeping with the way we go about our business as a club. I can absolutely understand why people have got so riled up and it's good to know that people do care about the game we all (presumably) enjoy so much. But what's done is done and it's surely time to reflect on the positives from the weekend.

The 2013 World Crazy Golf Championship was a great event and for those of us that were there, who witnessed the spirit and camaraderie among the players over the weekend, the experience of being part of such a superb competition ultimately speaks volumes and says more about the genuine state of minigolf in the UK than any article / booklet / social media discussion ever can.

I am sure that there will be further rumblings and discussion about 'the article', but I don't expect it to be on here.

We have another couple of brilliant weekends to look forward to as the season draws to a close and it will be these and the other fantastic highlights we've been party to over the year and the people I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with across the tour that I will remember and reflect on once we wrap up the season in Basingstoke at the end of November.

I have got to know my friends in the KMGC and the BMGA well over the years and I'm sure I am not alone in thinking this.

Spot on FB, whoever wrote it is probably feeling a bit sheepish, it won't happen again I'm sure & now it's time to get back to what we enjoy, playing minigolf for fun. Threats are out of place in most sports & if you think about it, getting that angry regarding anything to do with minigolf does seem a bit ludicrous. Time to move on.
