1 remember all scores obtained in a champions cup event are based on your handicap allowance
so if your handicap is a straight 1 for example and you shoot a 35 then the 35 becomes 34 -2 so if
the event is 3 rounds and you shot 35,30 32 for example without your handicap with your handicap those scores
would be 34,29,31 leaving you finishing on -14 for the tournament so that is how the scores/results are done/obtained
2 now on to the points system remember its all about your handicap points are scored based firstly on your finishing position so for 1st place you would pick up 150 points 2nd 100 3rd 50 4th 30 5th 20 6th 10 points now your finishing position in an event is based on your handicap included score so if you shoot 34,29,31 -14 with your handicap and nobody beats that obviously you will win the event and collect 150 points your scores with your handicap allowance are the bottom row of scores entitled gross/with handicap at the end within the results leaderboard .
3 now on to the round score points again all handicap related so for example if you shot 30 ,35,42 of course with your handicap allowance you would get 145 points so thats 75 points for the 30 a sub 32 round 50 points for the 35 a sub 36 round and 20 points for the 42 a sub 50 round totalling a 145 points remember all round score points gained are based on your gross/with handicap scores not net scores as you will see in previous result leaderboards the point scoring is on page 1
4 now on to the extra points you can earn these are non handicap related firstly there is points for senior, junior and lady so for example if you were top senior according to the champions cup result leaderboard you would get the top senior points 75 points added on to your total round score points same applies with junior and lady points 75 points for these catergories .
then we have the aces prize this is not handicap related if you shoot most aces outright in an event thats another 100 points to your total
then finally the perfect par round points again non handicap related if you shoot 18 2s thats an extra 50 points on your total if you shoot 3 perfect 36s thats 150 points gained then we have points for most 2s 100 points for most 2s scored
5 so to sum it all up as shown in the examples above after an event you could finish 1st thats 150 points ,145 for your tournament round scores 75 for top senior ,most aces 100 and one perfect par round 50 = 520 points
hope this helps everyone wroxham results to follow
