New Putter

Getting very tired of the Nifo Double, and really want to be equipped with a new weapon by the time of the Euro's in August...

Was wondering if anyone can help me??? (Guessing Andy/Marc might be the best people to ask but any help much appreciated!!)

-Benny. I'm aware they're very difficult to get hold of and possibly quite expensive but does anyone know where would be a good place to start??

-Nifo Ryner. Any ideas of how to get a cheap one, not too keen on paying £79 + delivery...

-Any other recommendations?? Would be keen to hear about other clubs which you think are good...

Nifo Steel's as good as the Ryner Adam, so I'd buy that if it was me. Cockney Tel bought a Ryner & it's hard to tell any difference compared to my graphite. Don't bother with a graphite shaft btw, steel's cheaper & there's no advantage other than weight of club. They do cost a bit but, choose the right one then reap the rewards when you improve even more!

I've never bought anything from them but they have English translation & take Paypal so they may deliver to the UK - good luck & I worry about how good you could get after getting a real good putter!

Adam, how much would you sell your current club for? It is not a rush though so don't worry about it. I thought that it would help give you a bit of money to help buy you your nifo Ryner club.

To be honest Will, I haven't really thought about how much I'd sell the Double for. If I get a new club, and you're still interested, I'll talk to you about it then...

Nifo Ryner - sub £80 = cheap. Especially when it's the only putter you will ever need to purchase.

Slimline design gives you a fuller backswing on border putts and very simple to modify the lie angle etc. As for shaft and grip - I find i have to change my grip every 1-1.5 years due to wear and the standard steel shaft is easy to get cut down to the right length.

Rubber face - Go for a low bounce option...definitely not the higher bounce ones!

I have a 8mm black & a 6mm black for my Nifo Adam, I prefer the 8mm (standard I believe but I think you can probably buy any combo)
Have a go with my putter before or after on Saturday, see what you think, that's the best way to buy a putter anyway - try one out!
