I have seen quite a few people using funsports balls in competitions and haven't got any myself. I get the impression that they are very good and am interested in buying some. I have seen a full set on ebay which I might put a few bids in for.

Anyone's opinions?

Cheers, The Kid

good for beginners. still useful at times but pretty inconsistent (temperature dependent)...
definitely not worth the €55 they're currently going for

I agree, save your money Will. 3d balls seem much better, the Nifo balls I have seem to have been good too.

You can buy better quality balls for the same price that do the same job.

nothing wrong with funsport balls they are good quality and i have found most of them very useful and have got good consistency with them all the people that are deciding to rip funsport are missing out on a set of 8 high quality balls which have the right combination of speed and bounce and give you good reliable consistency after all you know your getting quality with the funsport ball range because funsport are part of 3d golf funsport is 3d golfs hobby range aimed at newcomers to the sport and established tour players alike

Use what you're happy with. I'm happy with 3d & have found funsports balls not to my liking, they're not as good quality & now I don't have any. Any FS ball you feel you want - there's a better alternative!

Agree - I also think sometimes perhaps less focus on balls and more on technique and temperament would benefit a lot of players.

There's no real right or wrong, at the end of the day whatever works for the individual can only be a good thing!!

Less focus on balls...hence the one ball only Kent Open, an innovative creation from KMGC headquarters! sunny
