I think thats an 'ooer. moment FB!
Dave/Will (not sure) it's really easy to do it yourself but a golf proshop will do it, prob cost a lot more though.
I use
http://www.golfgrips-direct.com/cgi-bin/ss000002.pl?page=search&SS=putter+shaft&search.x=17&search.y=6&search=ACTION&PR=-1&TB=A
Get a shaft & a new grip, borrow a hotgun if you don't have one & just heat where the shaft fits in for about 30ish secs, the resin melts & the shaft will come out easily. New shafts are fitted with Araldite or similar epoxy resin. When dry cut to the right length & fit a new grip or take it to a proshop. (Sidcup will do it for you if you buy the grip there)
Check out videos on how to do it on youtube, its really easy! Wink
If you're doing it because you need a longer shaft, you can buy a shaft extender. Cut off the grip, glue the extension into the end of your shaft, trim to length then fit a new grip on top, that's much easier & cheaper than a new shaft, you can add up to 4".

Cheers "Mr X". The world of golf at sidcup said that they will reshaft my club for £15 if I have the shaft myself. Should I buy another grip or keep the grip which comes with the shaft?

You need a special tool to remove grips & they probably have one sp you should be ok, the shaft from the company whose link I put up only send the shaft, not with a grip.

I will order my shaft quite soon from info, it only costs 150 kronor which is about £15. I will keep the grip from the shaft and if it wears out overtime then I can get them to put a new grip on.

Thats a good option & not a bad price Will, as long as you like the Nifo grip.
One thing though, be sure you get the right length as very little can be done to shorten the shaft, they all taper so are designed to fit into the hosel tightly, most customisation is done from the grip end.
