Not the best quality photo (will let DT take a better one later!!) but you get the idea (all the text is on the ball - it's just the light bouncing off the ball that makes the text look missing!!)

so basically its just a golf ball with the kmgc logo they should make everyone play with one ball only every tournament then you would see who the real players were

I wholeheartedly agree Alex, as it was when I played in the Czech Open. We had to use standard golf putters though, ie no rubber at all allowed. Adventure style courses in the UK & USA etc are really designed for it, but minigolf balls make it easier when really minigolf balls were initially designed to be used on Concrete courses.
A mixture would be my ideal ie: Minigolf putters with golfball only comps.
....And then up pops FB with his tremendous idea for this year's KO - Great Stuff! cheers

they should make a rule where everbody from next season has to use a course ball only it would really show everybodys true skill you would have to come up with new ace lines new angles etc you would not just be able to play as many straight forward shots and slightly less aces would get scored after all the humble course ball is specifically for use on crazy golf and english and us miniature courses the different range of minigolf balls that are used were designed for european mini golf concrete, beton and also swedish felt those forms of minigolf never had a standard ball created next season course ball only for me and see what results i get . i noticed in the planet hastings everybody used a course ball on the crazy but when i asked whether they would use it on the other courses they said oh no def not but my theory is if your a good player you should be able to make a course ball work every hole every course every comp its not as smooth to use as a mini ball cause its sphere shaped and does not have a very true direction path but thats why less direct shots would be available you would have to use your head more and come up with new lines etc like peter jones does credit to him

Most people would have used a course ball only on the crazy course as good practice for the WCGC's Alex, I would've too.
Interestingly, the PHCGO was course ball only for a couple of years when it was on all four courses, it's a shame it reverted to any balls allowed.

Kent Open factoid #2:

No-one has ever retained the Kent Open title!

But then again prior to last year no-one had ever won it twice (records are there to be broken after all!)
