Hello everybody

The start of the football season is only 4 and a half weeks away!

I wondered whether anyone else would like to form a KMGC fantasy football league?

There are plenty of games out there. I used to play the telegraph game with my dad. If people are interested I could set up a Super League with the telegraph. It costs £6 to enter a team but big prizes are available. We could have a Super league amongst ourselves, or invite our friends and family, or even open it up to the rest of the minigolf community and proove that we are the best at football as well as minigolf!

Check out the website at www.fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk

I'd be happy to run the league and do all the admin.

Let me know what you think.

That was quick!

To join the league, Mr X, just log on the website with your details and find the bit that says Super League. Click on where it says join existing league and enter the following details:

League name: KMGC

Thanks Andy. The more the merrier.

We need 5 to qualify as a super league and if by some miracle we get 20 entrants then we'll get a free medal to give to the winner.

Don't forget the free copy of The Damned United HIOK, having been a Cloughie fan I watched the film recently, it's the best footy film ever - easily! (not a lot else is any good though) Michael Sheen is so good at playing Cloughie it's spooky!

Brian Clough in his latter years owned a paper shop on my parents' Road. Coming from Nottingham, its difficult to separate the great Cloughie from the one who used to be drunk in his shop and be rude to customers! (He wasn't there all the time!)

Daily Mail? That'll be twenty pence please young woman! Very Happy
Top bloke & no surprise about the being drunk in his shop. Can you possibly see a really great manager now having to scrape a living after retirement? Great shame.

BTW, just seen FB's TFF team - looking good! Wink

I've made mine public, though like Sean, I'll be making a few changes before kick off.

Slowly starting to fill up. I've got a few friends and family who will enter at the last minute. Tim has entered, Chris has entered 3 teams.

Great stuff! I think we'll all be making 'tweaks' before the weekend! Laughing

No surprise Tim's teams hidden, probably made up of those awful Citeh players!

Don't mock DT I'm in pain! Smile
I watched the game online, it should've been about 5-0 at half time, my 4yo daughter could take a better penalty than Carlton Cole! Sad If he'd scored we'd have won - simples.
Still only Man U away next then Chelski so that's something to look forward to!
Well done to WW! Sean must be doing really well with his Fantasy team, unless he changed it of course! Very Happy

Another very good result for Wolves. Early days but they are looking solid.

I'm sure WHU will be OK in a few weeks. Mind you, in the unlikely event of the Hammers losing to Oxford in the Carling Cup on Tuesday, 'Uncle Avram' may have a few problems. Whilst I don't think AG is a bad manager, this is a very big challenge for somebody who has yet to succeed in England. I wouldn't trust Gold and Sullivan as far as I could throw them. But fingers crossed for Mr X that they recover.

With Malouda, Lampard and Drogba doing well again this week, Mr X will probably stay top of the Fantasy League. Mr X for West Ham manager perhaps?

Hey I'm up for it HIO! Before the season started I was expecting next to nothing from our first six games so no panic yet as it was a tough start. But, fans & especially chairmen start to get twitchy so I hope AG gets some results. If he puts out a weak team against Oxford & we get done, that will be the start of the end of his 'reign' as WH manager. I'll be waiting to take over....just gotta persuade Malouda Lamps & Drogba that their future lies in the East End of London & we'll be fine! (whistle) Very Happy
