Um...anyone else going to enter this?!

Would be good to get a large entry from the KMGC seeing as it's only 2 rounds on a Sunday - could produce a suprise winner again with only 36 good hole needed!

I'll be there, also Phil & Ice Cold Alex. It's a great course, I'll miss Sarfend though but not surprised it's not there this year, after last year's probs! lol!

I've added Phil and Alex onto the list of entrants and we are looking like a force to be reckoned with (no pun intended!!) with 9 of the 22 players entered to date coming from the KMGC.

Are there any more players likely to enter from our midst? Marc, you mentioned that you had a few mates that were keen to enter - any news on them? I am keen to push the numbers up as I am going to catch up with the manager of the course soon and it's always good to have a strong field lining up with a couple of weeks to go.

All in all should be a good comp and I would expect to see the KMGC pushing each other for the top honours!!!

Sorry FB, Phil said today that Alex can't play on a Sunday while the footy season's on, he thought it was on a Saturday. Phil runs the team so neither can make it! Mad

No problem - it's a shame they can't make it but no doubt we will see them at a KIT day at some point (will make sure the first one's on a Saturday!!).

I reckon it will be the last weekend in March (KIT day anyone?!) but I am going to drop Matt a line either tonight or tomorrow to find out and also look at putting some dates in the diary potentially for the KO - the finest comp at the finest course - ain't life grand! cheers cheers cheers

Just make the weather a bit better this year! I nominated Marion's photo of Ted as my minigolf photo of the year, it summed the 2009 KO up nicely! Razz

STROKES ADVENTURE GOLF IN MARGATE http://www.strokesadventuregolf.com - the home of the KMGC -star of the KIT, The Megabowl and the Kent Open (amongst others). You will love the course (we all do!).

Check out some of the sets on our flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/13680867@N02/sets/ and you can see the agony and ecstacy that the course produces (as well as some cracking photo opps!!). Very Happy

What is the plan for the Saturday with the 'pro-Am' Sean? I'm happy to turn up and support this - any idea on timings?

Probably look at early afternoon (2ish - but we can be flexible dependant on numbers, etc).

Having had a bit of a flying visit previously & no practice, I have no idea whether a selection of balls is useful at NM as opposed to the golfball only I played in the Matchplay! Anyone got any tips? I can't imagine a soft dead ball's good for much there, I of course will probably be wrong! Rolling Eyes

I would go with a soft dead ball and a bouncier one as there are a few holes you might want to bounce back from behind the hole for safety.
